Billiard Pool Cues Make Great Zombie Weapons

As the undead threat escalates, more and more humans are becoming scarce everyday. People are being eaten left and right, and the zombie population continues to rise by the second. In my last correspondence, I explained how to set up fort in your billiard room and defend yourself against an oncoming zombie hoard. You are aware, however, that you cannot stay there forever. Even if you continue to use your billiard room as a safe house, you still have to, at some point, venture out for food, supplies, weapons, and even allies. So when you go, you obviously need at least one weapon for defense. If you are leaving from your billiard room, take your pool cue.

Pool cues make great tactical weapons against the undead, especially in hand-to-hand combat, as they are extremely light and versatile. They come in many weights and lengths, but all are light enough for even the puniest of individuals to swing and stab with speed and accuracy. A two-piece pool cue is better than a one-piece for a few reasons. First, you can always keep your two-piece screwed together as a one-piece cue stick if so needed, but if you need two sticks, you have that option, as well. Sure, you can break a one-piece cue in half, but you cannot glue it back together if you happen to need the extra reach. Likewise, one long cue stick is great for killing one or two zombies from a further, safer distance, but two sticks is more manageable and practical for multiple targets.

Also, most two-piece pool cues, whether they are wood, graphite, or otherwise, have a metal screw fitting that join the two pieces of the cue stick together, which may come in handy as a wedging device when looking for a place to hide. Although the two-piece pool cue does not compare to the crowbar (the most preferred and accessible weapon against the undead), the pool cue’s metal fitting can be used to pry open small doors and windows. Just be careful not to damage the fitting, else you may not be able to reconnect the two pieces. Also, the metal fitting is stronger and will stand up to more damage than your pool cue tip, which you should have sharpened to a point before leaving your billiard room or home base. And the tip of your cue should be used on UNDEAD FLESH ONLY! Breaking windows and trying to pry open doors will only dull your pool cue tip, or even break it completely off, therefore limiting the use of your primary weapon.

If you want help staying on the living end of the spectrum, pool cues can aid you in your quest. Graphite pool cues are more durable than wooden ones, although a wooden cue stick will suffice nicely against most types of zombie. Again, if you can find a long crow bar, then use it. If not, then get your hands on a billiard pool cue as soon as possible. Even if you do not have your own billiard room, there are many other places to find a cue stick. Billiard halls, bars, and sporting goods stores are all good places to look. And be careful out in the open. If you have to leave the safety of your own billiard room, home, attic, or any other safe house, take your pool cue with you. If not, then find something else to use as a weapon against the undead—anything else.

As long as I am alive, I will do everything I can to provide our dwindling numbers protection against the living dead. More correspondence to follow...
